Originally a three bedroom Bed & Breakfast run by Hilary and Roger Simmons the venue was transformed into an events and wedding venue when their daughter Claire Weedon and their son-in-law Will Weedon joined in 2006.
In fact it was Claire and Will’s wedding reception at the Barn in 2005 that gave the four family members the idea to put all their talents together and run a wedding venue. Now in it’s 12th year The Old Kent Barn is a multi award winning venue with a passionate team of staff; a team dedicated to making it the perfect place to say ‘I Do’.
The Old Kent Barn is set in an idyllic rural location. They have 2 buildings - a purpose built 110ft oak-framed barn (for indoor weddings and wedding receptions) and the original barn (for Guest Accommodation) built over 225 years ago.
The barns are set in manicured landscaped grounds and are surrounded by picturesque Kent countryside making it the perfect backdrop.
